Hotel Equities (HE), a leading hotel owner, operator, and developer is pleased to announce the appointment of Tim Ostrem as Regional Director of Operations in Canada. Ostrem will lend his expertise to oversee the firm's expanding portfolio of Canadian hotels, providing strategic leadership and driving operational excellence.
With an impressive career spanning three decades, Ostrem brings a wealth of experience in managed, franchised, and independent properties, specializing in both limited and full-service operations across various market segments. Prior to joining HE, Ostrem served as an Area General Manager, where he delivered exceptional results at North America's largest Residence Inn and mentored a team of General Managers to achieve similar success. Previous General Manager roles include The Algonquin Resort, Autograph Collection and the dual brand Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn Calgary South. Known for his forward-thinking approach and innovative leadership, Ostrem has built a solid reputation for developing high-performing teams in competitive markets.

Ostrem earned his Master of Business Administration from the University of Alberta. He is based in Calgary, Canada and reports directly to Senior Vice President of Operations, Martin Stitt.
